M.S. Ramaiah institute of technology Admission Requirements:

• For B.E.- 

  • A candidate can enroll in MSRIT's undergraduate engineering program if they have passed the 10 + 2 pattern of exams, which is equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka, with mathematics and physics as required subjects and chemistry, biotechnology, biology, computer science, and electronics as electives.

  • Candidates in the SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC categories must receive 40% of the possible points in the qualifying exam to be eligible for admission, while candidates in the General Category must receive 45%. 

  • For the purpose of determining eligibility, the candidate's scores in Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, and Electronics will be taken into consideration in lieu of Chemistry if the Chemistry scores will be short of the necessary aggregate percentage.

  • Entrance Exam: KEA / COMEDK will be required.

• For B.Arch-

  • Applicants must have passed 10+2 with good marks

  • For five year B.Arch course- Applicants should have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks

• For MBA- 

  • Applicants must have three year bachelor degree from a recognised university with 50% of marks (45% for the reserved categories) 

  • Entrance Exam: KMAT / CMAT / MAT/ PGCET – any one mandatory]

• For B.E.-

  • Applicants with 10+2 with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subject and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects can apply for the Undergrad course 

  • Applicants must have passed 12th with 45% (For general category) and 40% (For reserved category)

• For B.Arch.- 

  • an applicant who has successfully completed the 10 + 2 exam pattern, which is the equivalent of Karnataka's two-year pre-university program. 

  • Admission to year B.Arch. (Five year degree) 50% of the course's total score at the 10+2 level of examination will come from math, physics, and chemistry, with English being one of the languages.

  • In order to be admitted to the architecture program, a candidate must have completed the 10 + 2 scheme of examinations with 50% of the possible points in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, as well as 50% of the possible points overall.
