1. Indian Institute of Technology Madras

IIT- Madras is a public university formed in 196 by the government of India and is recognized as an institute of national importance. According to NIRF ranking of 2024, IIT-Madras was ranked 1st position among the engineering colleges in India. IIT Madras is approved by the AICTE. IIT- Madras offers V.Tech for 4 years, dual degree(B.Tech/M.Tech) for 5 years at UG level, and M.Tech for 2 years at the PG level.

IIT-Madras Eligibility Criteria

• Pass 10+2 with 75% marks from a reputed educational board.

• Students must hold B.Tech degree of 4 years are eligible for M.Tech admissions. 

• After successful completion of M.Tech with a minimum of 2 semesters with CGPA of 8.0 in prescribed courses, students will be eligible for PhD program. 

  IIT-Madras Entrance Exam

• Admissions to M.Tech program will be through GATE.

• Admissions for B.Tech and integrated B.Tech/M. Tech is through entrance exams like JEE MAINS and JEE Advanced

Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT) was established under UGC Act,1956. It is a self-financing, private institution set up in 1984 and obtained university status in 2001. Located in Vellore campus, Tiruvalam Rd, Katpadi, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It has 5 campuses spread across Chennai, Andhra Pradesh, Bhopal, and Bangalore. VIT Eligibility 

• Admissions to the B.Tech course will be based on 12th pass with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM.

• For M.Tech program, students who have completed 4 4-year B.Tech degree from any recognized institute/university with a minimum aggregate of 60%.

• Minimum 60% in 10+2 examination.

• For the integrated M.Tech course, students who have passed in secondary higher education with 70% aggregate in physics, chemistry, and mathematics(PCM) are eligible.

  VIT Entrance Exam

• VIT admission to B.Tech program is through VITEEE, a computer-based examination.

• For M.Tech program, students will need to appear for VITMEE exam.

Amity University was introduced in 2005 and is located in Sector 125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a private, not-for-profit research university. Amity University has been accredited with an A grade and recognized by the AICTE, UGC, AIU, and the International Association of Universities (IAU). Amity University offers a full-time B.Tech course for 4 years, a 3-year diploma course, a 5-year integrated B.Tech course, and a 2-year M.Tech program.

Amity University Eligibility 

• For B.Tech admission, students should have passed in all the subjects of 10+12 with a minimum of 60% with PCM as the main subject. 

• To be eligible for the M.Tech program, applicants must have a B.Tech/B.E with a minimum of 60% marks.

• Selection will be done based on a personal interview.

  Amity University Entrance Exam

• Amity University no longer conducts an entrance exam for admission to its engineering course. Selection is based on merit. A student with valid JEE scores can be accepted directly.

NIET is a private institution with an autonomous status from the UGC. Located in Uttar Pradesh, it is the centre of excellence and technical education. NIET is affiliated with Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). It is also accredited with an A grade by NAAC. At UG level, NIET offers a 4-year B.Tech program with a total intake of 180 students, along with various specializations like computer science, mathematics & computing, information technology, and a 2-year M.Tech program with a total intake of 30, with specialization in artificial intelligence, computer science & engineering. Students can also opt for M.Tech+B.Tech-integrated program for 5 years with a total intake of 60 students.

NIET Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Tech program, Applicants must have passed the intermediate examination of UP board or 10+2 examination from a recognized board.

• must have secured minimum 45%(40% for SC/ST category) in total of required subject combination(two compulsory and one optional).

• For M.Tech course, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline. MCA is also eligible for M.Tech admission.

NIET Entrance Exam

• Seat allotment will be through JEE MAINS/UPCET counselling conducted by AKTU.

• B.Tech total fee for 1st year is INR 1,79,100.

• B.Tech (lateral) all entry is INR 1,48,500.

GNIOT was founded in 2001. It is a private engineering and management institution based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. GNIT is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is a constituent of GN group of institutions. It offers a B.Tech program accredited by AICTE, and is also graded with an A++ by NAAC. GNIT has approval of BCI, PCI, AKTU, CCS. GNIT offers A 4-year B.Tech program in computer science & engineering with an intake of 150, and AI & ML with a total student intake of 60.
