NALSAR is known as National Academy of Legal Studies and Research and is situated in  Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana. University was established in 1998 as a public Law school. 3. National Law University

National Law University was founded in 2008 by an act of NCT of Delhi. It is a state-level university, recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of Association of indian Universities (AIU). NLU is also approved by Bar Council of India(BCI), and stood 2nd in NIRF ranking. NLU has been accredited with an A grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.10. It offers a 5-year BA LLB(hons) program, BA LLB (specialized hons), and an LLM program.

  • Admission to BA LLB/LLM will be through the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) entrance exam.

  • To be eligible for BA LLB, all applicants must have completed senior secondary education in any stream.

  • Applicants must have secured an aggregate of 45% of the total marks and ( 42% for OBC/ and 40% for SC/ST/PwD).

  • For a 1-year LLM program, applicants must have passed LLB or an equivalent degree from a recognized university with 50% marks and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwD.
