NALSAR is known as National Academy of Legal Studies and Research and is situated in Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana. University was established in 1998 as a public Law school. National Law University was founded in 2008 by an act of NCT of Delhi. It is a state-level university, recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of Association of indian Universities (AIU). NLU is also approved by Bar Council of India(BCI), and stood 2nd in NIRF ranking. NLU has been accredited with an A grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.10.
